Mark your calendars and plan to join Johnson County Mental Health Center and Olathe Communities that Care for a FREE screening of Screenagers Under The Influence: Addressing Vaping, Drugs, and Alcohol in the Digital Age, on Wednesday, September 20 at 6 p.m.
This documentary delves into how the tech revolution has reshaped adolescence and its effects on substance use. The film debunks myths and depicts strategies parents and schools can use to encourage healthy decision-making, support teen mental health, set limits, and create healthy home environments. Afterwards, there will be a discussion and opportunity to learn more about resources offered in our community.
This screening is free for anyone over the age of 12. Content is not suitable for children under 12 and childcare will not be provided. No tickets are required, but RSVP is preferred. Light dinner and refreshments will be provided.
